Calcium hydroxide

Basic use: Used to make bleaching powder, hard water softener, improve soil acidity, tap water disinfection clarifier and construction industry.
Inhalation of lime dust may cause pneumonia. The maximum allowable concentration is 5mg/m3 。When inhaling dust, you can breathe in water vapor, codeine and Eugene, and apply mustard ointment on the chest; when it falls into the eyes, rinse with running water as soon as possible, and then use 5% ammonium chloride solution or 0.01% CaNa?- Rinse with EDTA solution, and then drop 0.5% dicaine solution. Pay attention to protecting the respiratory organs while working, wear dust-proof fiber work clothes, gloves, airtight dust-proof glasses, and apply grease-containing ointment to prevent dust inhalation.
Packaging, storage and transportation It is packed in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene plastic film bags, each with a net weight of 25kg. Should be stored in a dry warehouse. Prevent moisture. Avoid storage and transportation with acids. Protect from rain during transportation. In case of fire, use water, sand or general fire extinguishers to put out the fire.
Physical and chemical properties Fine white powder. The relative density is 2.24. When heated to 580°C, it is dehydrated into calcium oxide, which absorbs carbon dioxide in the air to form calcium carbonate. Soluble in acid, ammonium salt, glycerin, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, strong alkaline, corrosive to skin and fabrics.
